Welcome to the Chadwick Family Swim Club’s 2010 swim season. The Board of Directors takes great pleasure in extending a hearty welcome to both our first-time members and a grateful welcome back to our returning members. The 2010 season finds us coming off one of the most productive membership recruitment seasons in memory. Thank you to all the members who have invited friends and neighbors to join the family at Chadwick. We remain committed to positive member growth and beautification of the surrounding grounds. As an overall membership, |
|
we should not relax on our recent success and as stewards of this community asset, it is incumbent upon us to remain focused on growing our membership and to deliver a safe and enjoyable experience for all our members and guests Finally, we strive to organize and create a fun and family atmosphere and are always seeking volunteers for assisting in developing the “social” functions we enjoy so much. See you at the pool! Sincerely, Your 2010 Board |

Your friends and relatives are welcome to enjoy CSC with us. Their admission will be through the use of a guest pass. These passes are available to our members at the Front Desk of the pool. Planning a family reunion, birthday party or team party? The pavilion rental is open to all members, and can be reserved during normal hours of operations. Because of popularity, we recommend reservations. There is a $30 charge for rental of the pavilion. In addition to the rental fee, guest passes are required for all non-members. Specific number of guests and payment can be addressed with the lifeguards. |
|
Baby-Sitter passes are available at $50.00 for the summer. This is for swim club members who require someone to watch their children during the week or watch other children themselves. Each baby-sitter pass covers one baby-sitter or one child. |

For more than 35 years, a pool management company was hired to run the pool. In the recent past, the Board has chosen to self manage the pool instead. This includes, but is not limited to, hiring and supervising the lifeguards, and maintaining the pool according to applicable laws. Self management of the pool has been successful in keeping membership dues cost competitive, but has also resulted in a significantly increased work load. It is for this reason that each family is required to work a minimum of 2 hours annually, or pay a $50 buy out. Work duties do not have to be completed by an adult. Children are also welcome to participate in the work duty program, particularly those that must perform voluntary service in conjunction with organizations to which they belong. Work duties include, for example, distributing flyers, participating at a work day prior to opening the pool for the season, general landscaping and grass cutting, volunteering at a social event, or maintaining the club’s website. These “work opportunities” will be announced in advance via email, or by telephone.
To better administer the work duty program, we are requesting that 2 checks be submitted with each annual membership application: One in payment of the annual membership dues, and a $50 check which will be returned / destroyed upon completion of a work duty. This information is also reflected on the annual membership application. |
